As an Open Networking Evangelist for Big Switch Networks, Steven works on the Open Network Linux project https://opennetlinux.org. Steven is responsible for maintaining the code, managing support requests and evangelizing on the subjects of Open Network Linux and Open Networking.

As the President of the board of the Network Device Education Foundation, Inc (NetDEF), Steven is part of a team focusing on supporting open source projects (Quagga, RouteFlow, OpenFlow) and open networking.

In his previous position as the CTO of Sideband Networks, Steven worked with an amazing team building the next generation of network tools.

Steven has spent over 20 years in the networking industry working for companies such as Big Switch Networks, Cisco Systems, Procket Networks, Exodus Communications and Foundation Health.
