In just over two years ODL has made history, overcoming the intense initial skepticism of those fearful of its vendor-sponsored origins and the broad scope of intent.  In record time ODL has evolved into a rapidly advancing and thriving community that has formalized the role of open-source in New IP architectures and has already earned its first large-scale production deployments.
