Opendaylight is a critical component, the brain of any SDN solution and hence it is important to monitor the applications and track the changes happening on the controller. ODL has extensive logging mechanism and admin can get to know the health of the application and networking tracking the logs. The only issue being that ODL has many components and analyzing in an effective way is a challenge. Running controller in a clustered environment further complicates the situation. This talk covers the current issues and provides a solution to overcome these issues, presents new set of possibilities using opensource log analyzer.
Advantage and use case includes, but not limited to:
-Admins can start analyzing the SDN applications impact on the system.
-Early detection of conflicts in the flows programmed by various applications
-ODL system monitoring and detection of bottlenecks
