Performance, scalability and stability testing for SDN controllers is complex. In this presentation, HP and Intel will outline key metrics, methodologies and tools for ODL performance testing as input into nascent ODL efforts such as those by the Integration working group. Another objective of this session is to spur a community discussion on developing and maintaining a common set of best practices for performance testing each ODL release including both Black box and White box use cases as well as the definition of reference Devices Under Test.
