The presentation will provide useful tips & tricks about how write scalable and well-performing OpenDaylight applications. Jan, Robert and Tony will provide architecture guidelines for good application design, as well as give concrete examples how to best use the MD-SAL data store, messaging, clustering and other key infrastructure services. They will also discuss good yang model design.

Jan Medved

Jan Medved is a Distinguished Engineer in the CTO office at Cisco Systems. He has been involved with the OpenDaylight project since February 2013. In addition to OpenDaylight, Jan works on several SDN-related projects at Cisco, and is active in IETF and other standards organizations.

Tony Tkacik is an architect and key developer of the Model-Driven SAL. He has vast experience with model-driven architectures & designs, and has been working on SDN controllers for the past several years. He's been working on OpenDaylight since April 2013.
