This presentation will combine both presentation and demonstration to show the power of ODL for completely different use cases. We will also show how several ODL clusters can be federated into a fully distributed, geographically dispersed SDN solution. The use cases that will demonstrate versatility of ODL in complex carrier use cases such as vEPC, vGi-LAN, vCPE, vSBC and more. Using an ODL controller we will show how the EPC traffic can be controlled. We will demonstrate the business benefits that it provides by reducing latency, backhaul and other associated costs. Traffic steering using ODL-based SDN fabric enables mobile operator networks to power a new generation of IOT, video, gaming and other applications. We will also show an additional use case of vGi-LAN where a subscriber-aware fabric is created using ODL and per subscriber service function chaining is established.
