The network intent composition (NIC) project's goal is to provide a simple, consistent interface into an SDN controller based on standards coming from the ONF. By maintaining and intent based interface the SDN controller is afforded the flexibility to provide that intent using the entire network context and thus being able to provide overall network configuration.
This session will cover what is attempting to be accomplished by the network intent composition project, its current status, and hopefully, some examples. This session will also provide time for the audience to pose questions to better understand the project.
